Onpage SEO - NoFollow By Michael Bunn of SEO Web Design Services Everyone talks about dofollow and nofollow links when it comes to SEO. Dofollow links pass pagerank which helps your site and nofollow does not pass any pagerank. If this is the case who wants nofollow links? Well many people do because the links can still directly bring your website new visitors. You should when doing your onpage SEO consider using nofollow links within your own internal linking system. If you make internal links a nofollow the pagerank would get spread between your other internal links. This makes your inner pages of your website stronger. Beware though because this is manipulating pagerank and should only be used on links to pages that you are not trying to rank high for or are no use being indexed by the search engines. For example a privacy policy page or a page on your delivery requirements. Even the terms & conditions could be made a nofollow. People under estimate how much stronger a website can be just by adjusting some onpage SEO elements.
